Hiring a designer to build your website is exciting — but it can also feel overwhelming if you don’t know what happens behind the scenes.

At Zeke & Willow Studio, every website project follows a structured process. This ensures your build stays organized, efficient, and aligned with your goals.

Here’s exactly what to expect from start to launch.

Step 1: Consultation & Package Selection

We begin with a 30-minute consultation to:

• Clarify your goals• Identify your ideal customer

• Recommend the right package

• Outline timeline expectations

Once you choose a package, you’ll receive your deposit invoice, service agreement, and discovery questionnaire.

Your project officially begins once all onboarding steps are complete.

Step 2: Discovery & Strategy

The discovery questionnaire is one of the most important parts of your project.

This is where we define:

• Your target audience

• Your website goals

• Your primary call-to-action

• Branding direction

• Required features

The more detailed your responses, the stronger your final website will be.

Step 3: Design & Development

Once onboarding is complete and assets are received, development begins.

During this phase:

• Page layouts are structured

• Branding elements are applied

• Mobile responsiveness is optimized

• SEO page titles and descriptions are added

• Forms and integrations are configured

You’ll receive a midpoint preview to confirm overall direction before the full build is completed.

Step 4: Review & Revisions

When the full build is complete, you’ll receive a preview link.

At this stage:

• You’ll submit feedback using the official Revision Request Form

• Feedback must be submitted in one consolidated round

• Revisions are completed within 2–3 business days

Your package includes a limited number of revision rounds. Additional changes beyond scope may require a custom quote.

Step 5: Final Approval & Launch

Once revisions are complete:

• You provide written approval

• Final payment is submitted

• Domain is connected

• Final SEO checks are completed

• Site is published

You’ll receive a confirmation email once your website is live.

After Launch

You’ll have a 7-day post-launch window for minor adjustments.

After that, updates are available at an hourly rate.

Final Thoughts

A website build isn’t just about design — it’s about structure, clarity, and long-term usability.

When you know what to expect, the process feels smooth and intentional.
